Eye Twitching

I was worried for these past few weeks because my eyelids keeps on blinking involuntarily that it affects my vision a little bit. At first I thought that it was just a simple involuntary movement of the eyelids but as time goes on I find it disturbing already. So I had it check on an ophthalmologist and his findings is I’m suffering from an eye twitching or eye spasms or technically called blepharospasm.

Eye Twitching is when your eyelid muscle contracts involuntarily that which may result in a fluttering of your vision or an annoying eyelid tremble. Some of its causes are stress, fatigue, lack of sleep, too much intake of caffeinated drinks, eye strain and vitamin deficiency.

Thanks heavens that my eye twitching is not that severe one, so my ophthalmologist just prescribes me a vitamin supplement that focuses specifically on what is needed for my eyes. Like vitamin B2, B12, Potassium and Lutien. He then told me to get enough sleep and rest and to take care of my eyes.
